BECOME A VOLUNTEER IN ELIM In January 2004 we welcomed our First volunteers in ELIM. Since, the volunteers have become very important in the life of the children. They give them attention, love and are helping the mental and physical development. The volunteers, who are coming to visit ELIM, are coming from all the parts of the world. Due to this, the children get in contact with different cultures, languages and customs by which their vision of life is getting stronger. Besides the positive influence the volunteers have on the children, it is also for the volunteer a unique chance to get to know the real Peruvian life. Learning the Spanish language, the customs, the typical food and the warm, loving environment will make the volunteer can fully enjoy his time in ELIM. Next to the opportunity to work as a volunteer, ELIM offers the volunteers the opportunity to stay in one of its apartments or to learn Spanish.
